Furniture & Home Decor Paint

Product Description:

Country Chic Paint is a chalk and mineral based paint that is specifically designed for DIYers with a love for refinishing furniture and home decor. This fabulous paint is VOC FREE and contains no harmful solvents. And applying Country Chic paint couldn’t be easier - whether you want to make a new piece look old or transform an old look with new color and style,  you will love the beautiful smooth matte finish and all the delicious color choices.

The best part? There’s very little prep work with Country Chic paint, only fabulous results.

Surface Preparation:

Before you paint, make sure your surface is clean, dry and free of mildew, loose or scaling paint, and other contaminants. Most projects can be painted without sanding, however, if the surface is glossy, we recommend you sand lightly with 120 grit sandpaper.  Certain surfaces, such as mahogany, may bleed and should be primed with a stain blocking primer (such as Shellac).

How To Use:

Stir well before and during use. Best results are achieved with Country Chic brushes. Apply one generous coat and allow to dry at least 2 hours before applying a second coat. Add dimension to your project by using a different color for creating that time-worn look. To distress your piece, use a wet lint-free cloth or super-fine grit wet/dry sandpaper Wipe with a damp cloth and allow to dry.

Finish your piece with wax for a professional & long-lasting result!
