Lovely Serpentine End Table
Carrie from Thirty Eighth Street is joining us today to show off the beautiful end table she created with a custom mix of Cobblestone and Vanilla Frosting! Read on to find out her recipe.Hi All, it's Carrie from Thirty Eighth Street! I'm here to share a fun little makeover on this little serpentine end table that I found at an estate sale. I'm not sure if this hardware is original, but they are quirky! I decided to keep them and paint them while they were still on the piece. Makes for easy painting! I whipped up a custom medium-light grey hue using Country Chic Paint in both Cobblestone and Vanilla Frosting. I eye balled it, but if I had to guess I would say it was a mixture of 4 parts Cobblestone to 1 part Vanilla Frosting. It turned out to be such a pretty color! This serpentine end table was finished off with some Clear Coat to give it a hardy finish. I love this piece and the earthy neutral tone it was given! One man's trash is another women's treasure... Quirky hardware and all! :) Happy Painting!
Carrie {Thirty Eighth Street}
Hi! I’m Carrie from sunny Southern Arizona and blogger at Thirty Eighth Street. I live in a house full of rumble tumble boys and paint is my nail polish. I love the process of repurposing, reusing and recycling unloved furniture and turning them into show stopper pieces. I’m a firm believer that it doesn’t have to cost a fortune to decorate a home. My mission is to demonstrate this, one piece at a time!
