Natalie gave in to its demands by creating her own custom jewel tone blue color.

Before diving in, she sanded down some areas to smooth out the finish. She then gave it a couple of coats of shellac to prevent the inevitable bleed through.

Then she mixed together 2 parts Jitterbug with 1 part Peacoat to create the perfect, eye-catching blue!

Natalie {A Ray of Sunlight}

Hello! My name is Natalie, and I am the owner and creative mind behind A Ray of Sunlight. I have always loved anything to do with crafts, so it only seemed right when I started my career in painting and refinishing furniture. Growing up my parents taught me how to create, imagine the possibilities and transform things with a bit of work and paint. I wanted a career that would enable me stay home with my baby girl, and furniture does just that. Thank you for following along on my adventures of up-cycling and bringing light back to old outdated pieces.
