How to Create Ombre Stripes and a Glazed Wood Top
Details, Details, Details
This French Provincial dresser got a royal makeover with all of the bells and whistles.
Kate of @dezarosedesigns used the most amazing list of products to achieve this gorgeous finish.
Ciera of @_restorereimagined_ put a ton of elbow grease into this makeover, and her hard work paid off!
She started with a good cleaning and sanding followed by 2-3 coats of Driftwood – our favorite muted warm brown!
How about the amazing depth and texture of that top? It looks like something that took many layers of stain, but it was as easy as sanding down the top to the bare wood and then applying Graphite Furniture Glaze and wiping it back to reveal all of that beautiful grain!
Shannon of @vintagerefined.co always delivers crisp and clean furniture that brightens up every room.
The 4-drawer farmhouse dresser was cleaned and prepped and then painted in Happy Hour – a very soft, minty green.
A stubborn layer of veneer was removed from the top and a beautiful butcher block style surface was restored using Furniture Glaze in Smoky Quartz. Shannon also used it on the legs!
We hope these furniture makeovers inspire you to try new finishes and take your creativity to the next level!
