Pebble Beach End Table
Crystal from The Driftwood Home chose Pebble Beach to give this beautiful end table vintage charm!I came across this little cute little end table on one of the local garage sale pages in my neighborhood. I’ve been looking for a set of vanity tables to turn into nightstands, so far in this style, I was only able to find the one. I was definitely attracted to the fact that it still had its original casters too!. It was in decent shape, but it definitely needed a good cleaning and some filling along the side where it was once connected to a vanity shelf. After a light sanding, and a good wash, I decided it really didn’t need anymore prep because I wanted the details from all the years of age to really be present and add to it’s vintage charm.
I used Country Chic Paint in “Pebble Beach”. This really is a very pretty, light gray that goes well with just about anything. Country Chic Paint distresses easily, so giving this table some added character was a breeze and the end result looks like it can fit right in a quaint, shabby chic cottage.
This pretty infinity twist design on the front is really all the intricate/ornate this piece needs besides the turned legs and white rose ceramic knobs. There were some appliques on the drawer fronts that were in terrible shape, so I ended up removing them to let the hardware shine through.
The casters were in really good shape, and it elevated the table to be perfect bedside height. The legs, the infinity design, the rose knobs…they all added up to be a very feminine piece, even in a neutral color like gray. I love how this color in particular can be so versatile. I can definitely see this color on modern pieces!
