Using a combination of Country Chic Paint and Re·Design with Prima products, Analia layered paint, texture, moulds, transfers, and metallic accents to create a piece that's bursting with character and charm.
Step 1: Building the Perfect Base
Analia began by applying two coats of our Peachy Keen.This soft, warm shade provided the perfect foundation for the romantic design she had envisioned.
Step 2: Creating Texture & Dimension
To add depth and visual interest, Analia dry-brushed Simplicity over the painted surface. This technique created a beautifully layered finish while enhancing the birdhouse's cottage-inspired appeal.
Step 3: Sealing the Finish
Once the paint was fully dry, she sealed the project using our Clear Coat applied with our Artist Paint Brushes. This step helps protect the finish while maintaining a soft satin sheen.
Step 4: Adding Decorative Texture
Next, Analia incorporated a Eastern Fountain Stick & Style Stencil to introduce additional texture and detail. This subtle layer adds visual movement and complements the overall vintage aesthetic.
Step 5: Crafting Dimensional Embellishments
To bring the design to life, she created decorative mouldings using Regal Trimmings and Fragrant Roses moulds. These elegant embellishments added dimension and helped create the birdhouse's romantic, storybook feel.
Step 6: Layering in Floral Details
Analia then applied the Gentle Symphony Transfer, adding delicate floral elements that beautifully tied together the soft colours and decorative details.
Step 7: Finishing with Vintage Elegance
For the final touch, she highlighted the raised details and mouldings with Vintage Gold Wax. The gold accents add warmth, depth, and a subtle touch of vintage luxury.
