Whether you're flipping furniture or giving your patio set a glow-up, spraying can save you time and give a silky-smooth finish. Just follow a few simple tips to get it right!
Start with Full Strength:
Before you dilute anything, always start with the paint at full strength. Many sprayers handle our paint straight out of the can with no issue. This gives you a chance to test your equipment and see how it flows before making adjustments.
Thin Only If Needed — and Only a Little:
If you notice the spray is uneven, sputtering, or too thick, you may need to thin the paint slightly. If you do, we recommend adding no more than 10% water to your paint. That’s just enough to help it flow better without compromising the paint’s quality or coverage.
Every Sprayer is a Little Different:
Keep in mind, each sprayer is unique, and what works perfectly in one might need slight adjustments in another. You might have to experiment a bit to find the sweet spot. Start small, test, adjust — and you'll be good to go!
Keep That Signature Finish:
Country Chic Paint is known for its rich, chalky texture and amazing adhesion. Over-thinning the paint can water down those benefits, so less is definitely more. Stick to the 10% rule and test often to keep that smooth, beautiful look intact.
